Property Tax Engagement Series
The MN Department of Revenue (DOR) has hosted three of six meetings in its “Engaging Minnesota to Help Property Taxpayers” series. The next meeting is September 24th at 1:00 pm. Meetings can be attended virtually, and registration is required. Click HERE for more information and how to register. Video recordings of meetings that have been held are also available to view. Metro Cities invited DOR Commissioner Paul Marquart to its first Municipal Revenues Policy Committee meeting in July to discuss the Department’s plans for the series, and local officials were encouraged to attend. September Meetings of Policy Committees
Metro Cities will host third and final meetings of its policy committees the week of September 28th. The Municipal Revenues Committee has completed the work of the committee for this year and will not hold a September meeting. The Metropolitan Agencies Committee has one outstanding policy and that meeting will be held virtually. The Transportation & General Government and Housing & Economic Development Committee meetings will be held in-person with a virtual option. All committees will host speakers at the September meetings.
