Metro Cities Breakfast at LMC Annual Conference
Metro Cities will host a breakfast at the League of Minnesota Cities 2025 Annual Conference in Duluth on Thursday, June 26th. Breakfast will be held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center in the Split Rock room, from 7:45-8:45 am. This is a great opportunity to connect with other metro city officials. Upcoming Metropolitan Council Grant Deadlines
On July 8th, the Metropolitan Council 2025 Housing Policy and Production Survey is due for cities to maintain eligibility for LCA grant programs. This annual survey consolidates local efforts for creating affordable housing opportunities. Learn more HERE.
The 2025 Livable Communities Act (LCA), Livable Communities Act Demonstration Account (LCDA), and the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) grant will be a combined application process. Applications are due on August 11th. There is $10M available through the LCDA program, and $5.75M available through the TOD program. 2025 Metro Cities Policy Committees
Metro Cities 2025 policy committee process begins in July. Participation is open to member city elected officials and staff. Committee descriptions and dates are on the website. Please be sure to sign up for the committee(s) you wish to attend. This will help us keep rosters accurate. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
