State Revenue Update

The state Office of MN Management and Budget (MMB) released their July Revenue Review, which shows that the state’s net general fund revenues for July totaled $1.767 billion, 3.8% more than what was forecast. Sales tax receipts accounted for the increase in revenues. All other tax types were lower than expected. With all monthly revenue reviews, MMB notes that results are preliminary and subject to change.
